He has gone from strength-to-strength & is consistently placed at Open & Championship Shows & qualified for Crufts 2001, first time as a Junior Dog at Manchester Champ. Show, (Judge Stewart Livesey, Liv&a) again out of a strong class he was awarded 2^nd place.

To keep his record, he was placed 1st, in Graduate Dog at Yorkshire & Eastern Pekingese Championship Show (Dec, 2000) under Joyce Mitchell (Micklee)

At Manchester Championship Show (February 2001), (Judge - Tom Mather JP) awarded Ralph a 1st place in Post Graduate Dog, qualifying him for Crufts 2002

At North of Scotland Pekingese Club Championship Show, (June 2002), (Judge - Bill Chapman 'YORKLEE') awarded Ralph a 1st in Post Graduate Dog & a 1st in Limit Dog - this qualifying Ralph for his Stud Book Number!

The British Pekingese Club, (February, 2003), Judge: Mrs CA Greenway (Taihang) writes:-

"Varnam's Varpek Ice Warrior: Grey brindle/black mask, masculine dog, fabulous classic head, so well balanced, good clean dark eyes, nose placement & size correct, well cushioned cheeks & good underjaw, short neck, wide & deep rib-cage, good sound bone, moved so well."

Varnam's Varpek Ice Warrior: 4 year old male, well coated grey/brindle, large eyes, gentle expression, strong masculine head. Moved well with roll, well set elbows, deep brisket. Of good shape & construction which won him Best of Breed.
